There is no doubt that our period of Self Isolation will be a trying period for us all, some will experience the same challenges, whilst others will experience it completely differently. I know that as soon as I knew that a period of ‘lockdown’ was soon upon us and as the nationwide feelings of negativity and uncertainty began to grow, I started thinking about what isolation may/could feel like for me and what I could do to inject feelings of joy 😁 into my everyday/weekly routine. I started writing a list 📝 of all the things that would feel like a treat and I could weave into periods of ‘Me’ time – a part of self-care and self-preservation – whether that be on a Monday night, Friday night, Sunday morning – whatever time you set aside for yourself. After I completed my list, I ordered all the items for delivery and created myself my own ‘Quarantine Self Care Parcel’ 📦 , I have listed all the items I got below.

What would you buy? I would love to know all the things you would put in your own ‘Quarantine Self Care Parcel’  – so we could all share things that make us feel good 😁 . I cannot wait to dedicate some ‘me’ time into using all of these 💕

Febreeze Lavender Lenor spray

I LOVE this smell – it really is the simplest things – I spray this on our Bed Sheets either after making our bed in the morning or of just before we go to sleep. Then normally on a Saturday morning, I spray this on the curtains in our bedroom and the sofa/curtains in the Living room.

Skin Republic – Face masks

I like to apply face masks when ever I go into full relaxation mode, along with my Bath Robe! 😁 You could apply this on a Monday as a treat, after your first day of the working week or on a Friday night to ease yourself into the weekend.

Elizabeth Arden – 8 hour Cream

I literally have a tube of this everywhere – at work, by the bed, in the car, in my study and the Living room. As we will be spending a lot of time at home and likely with the heating on, this is good to apply to your lips and wherever really, where ever you have dry skin (as long as you don’t mind looking a bit glossy!)

Kiehls – Oil-free moisturiser

My face moisturiser is a staple. I am going to take this time at home, to up my skincare routine and actually stick to it for once, morning and night!

Skin Ceuticals – Hydrating B5 Serum

An expensive purchase but worth it and keeps my skin hydrated, especially whilst I am on Roaccutane.

Jo Malone – Pomegranate Noir Candle

Expensive, but definitely feels like a treat. I like to light a candle every morning when I read my book and have a coffee before I start my day.

Philips Kingsley – Extreme Elaticizer

The best hair treatment for me – I leave it on whilst doing jobs around the house before washing it off and shampooing my hair.

The Sanctury Original Luxury Bath Soak

My favourite bath soak 🛁 ever – and a favourite of mine for over a decade, it makes me feel instantly relaxed and treated every time I use it.

Foreo skin cleanser tool

Each night, I use this when I double cleanse my face.

Laneigie – Sleep Lip mask

I always put some lip balm on before I go to bed… whilst I would love to use the Elizabeth Arden tube – that doesn’t taste as nice (if you get what I mean 😉 ) and this one has a lovely berry taste.

Neom Sleep Oil

A nice smell to add to your diffuser if you are struggling to sleep. I use this when I am feeling stressed or worried about anything before I go to sleep.

Kiehls – Hydro-plumping serum

This was recommended to me by a Sales Assistant in a shop a couple of years back and I have never looked back, it feels amazing on your skin when you put it on (honestly, no over exaggerating) and its oil-free too. So its a double win for me.

Espa – Restorative oil

If I want to add a real bit of extra luxury to my bath, I add a couple of drops of this to my bath along with my bubble bath.

Natures bounty – Chewable Multivitamins

I have never been a fan of swallowing tablets – so anything that is chewable and still provides the same nutrients is a win in my book.

Amazon Kindle

Couldn’t live without this item! Still prefer the feel of a real book – but you can’t beat its convenience.

Magazines

Ideal Homes and Period Living – I love losing myself in interior magazines and these are my magazines of choice.

The White Company – Lime and Bay Room Spray

My favourite room smell – you can’t beat a clean house! Once I have cleaned the house, I spray this around the house to finish it off.
